From which materials are the moulds produced?
The moulds are mainly manufactured from tool steel and aluminium is also applied sometimes. Furthermore dependant on the requirements, the product forming components are produced hardened.Momexx produces as well multi component mould.
What are the maximum dimensions of the product?
The maximum dimensions of the product depend on several factors. But in general the maximum dimensions will be approx. 1500 x 600 mm.
Is Momexx capable to produce very complex products with very irregular geometric forms and special regulations?
Yes, if Momexx, plastic mold manufacturer, is involved in the development phase, there are several possibilities. Doe example, we’ve developed a product with a wall thickness of 0.2 mm, in which there are 128 holes of 0.2 mm in a diameter of 8 mm.
Is a product drawing or CAD-model necessary to produce the product at Momexx?
This is not necessary, but Momexx plastic mould maker can provide CAD-files if necessary.
Which techniques does Momexx use to produce its products?
All modern techniques, like laser welding and combined milling cutter machines, are available.
What is the average life span of a mould?
The life span depends on several factors. Momexx guarantees from 100,000 up to 3 million shots.
What are the delivery periods at Momexx?
Simple moulds can be provided as from several weeks. Complex tools can take 12-14 weeks before these are manufactured.
In which price range does Momexx operate?
Moulds are available from several thousands of euros, dependant on the execution. Prices for projects with a lot of moulds can run up to 1 million.
Is there a test spray-casting?
Yes, Momexx delivers most of the moulds after a test spray-casting. Test spray-casting machines from 40-570 ton clamping force are available.
Are there finance possibilities for moulds?
Yes. Momexx has the possibility to offer a lease construction to its customers. This construction can be completed with maintenance and wear of the mould. The conditions for the lease of a mould are carefully handled beforehand.
To what extent is the aftercare of the mould arranged?
The relation with the customer is very important, certainly because it concerns custom-made moulds. This means also that after the delivery of the mould, we keep contact with the customer and the customer is always welcome for maintenance, repair and other things.
What are the delivery conditions for the mould?
Moulds are delivered based on the metal union conditions.
Is it possible to have moulds maintained and repaired at Momexx?
Yes, even if there are moulds created by another vendor, customers are welcome at Momexx for the maintenance and repair.
Which procedure does Momexx use for projects?
For each project, irrespective of the scope, one contact person is appointed. The project leads for projects in Europe are in Nieuwkuijk and for Asia in Guangzhou, China. This means that there’s local project management as well as an extended after-sales service.
What is the delivery capacity of moulds at Momexx?
Momexx delivers averagely between 200 and 300 moulds per year, depending on the size and complexity.
Is Momexx internationally oriented?
The international focus of Momexx - plastic molds manufacturer, is expressed by the different establishments in the Netherlands and China, the possibility to import from Portugal and by extending the sales and marketing activities to Middle and Eastern Europe and Asia.
Is Momexx ISO qualified?
